Ocean Trout Linguine

Ingredients

  • 250g Ocean trout, (crab meat is ideal if you can get it, any other seafood will work too)

  • 1/4 cup Capers

  • 1 Chilli

  • 3 gloved of Garlic

  • Fresh dill

  • 50g Butter

  • 1/2 cup White wine

  • 250g fresh Linguine

  • Crab noodles (flavouring from the packets is what we need here)

Directions

  • Boil water for your pasta and add the dry mix from the crab noodles. This flavours the pasta and is delicious. Once its boiling add your linguine.
  • In a pan, heat the butter and add chopped chilli and garlic.
  • Add your trout, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup white wine.
  • Add the wet packet of ingredients from the crab noodles, to the mix.
  • Bring down to a simmer, add capers and fresh dill.
  • Once the pasta is cooked to al dente, add it and some of the pasta water, to the pan then another stick of butter to thicken the sauce.
  • Serve with more fresh dill and cracked pepper.
